True Blue (Judges Set)

Description

Series: Symphonic Grade 4 & Up "True Blue" is a piece comissioned by the Wheaton Municipal Band to honor three of their current performers, Carol Kierzyk (Clarinet) who has been with the ensemble for 40 years, Mike Thornsen (Horn), who has been there for 50 years, and Al Loek (Trombone) who has been there 60 years. This bright and breezy fanfare is perfect for a summer evening's concert in the park! Three instruments are all highlighted in the opening theme that is based on the intervals of a 4th, 5th and 6th, giving a nod to the number of decades which these players have performed with the band.
