Description
Series: Achievement Plus String Orchestra Series This piece is a musical depiction of an excursion through the countryside while being drawn by a favored and trusted horse. The choice of conveyance depends on the time of the year. If the piece is performed during the Christmas/winter season, our horse would be pulling us through the snow in a sleigh. Accordingly, the percussionists should perform the part on sleigh bells. For other times of the year, we would hear hoof beats, performed on tempo blocks as our horse pulls us in a buggy. This is especially effective for your winter program. ( 2 minutes)
