Description

Overture in the Romantic Style The music of Revolution is bold and restless and, like most revolutions, combines passionate, hopeful and anxious undercurrents. Mounting levels of musical tension build relentlessly like a restless mob that grows as it charges through the streets, leading to the initial statement of the melody. A quiet waltz-like section slows the action, gradually taking on a more anxious and almost sinister nature which then charges forth to the frenzied conclusion.
