Piano — The Sonata in A is especially well-suited to young students first encountering Haydn's concert works. The opening Allegro moderato movement is followed by a Menuet and Trio, both of which feature the opening statements played again in reverse, and an unusually brief Finale. This critical edition is based upon the autograph and surviving first print, and is published to be a comfortable performing edition. For intermediate to advanced pianists.
