Violin, Cello — Igudesman's previous collection Violin & Viola & More was very well received, but there's always that cello player out there who asks, "What about me?" So now we have Violin & Cello & More, which brings Igudesman's unique vision to the larger stringed instrument. Familiar music from around the world (Auld Lang Syne, Hava Nagila, La cucaracha, etc.) are enhanced with original works in specific styles. His Irish Stew in the Morning is so convincingly Irish, that some swear it's a natural folk melody. (Multiple recordings are already available on YouTube.) Violin & Cello & More is Igudesman's answer to all those cellists who are busily making their own transcriptions of these pieces. Relax! And have fun.
