Description

Alto Saxophone, Piano — Rae turns his attention to beginning saxophone students with a series of pieces that push their imagination. Twelve different animals from the zoon take to the dance floor in different musical styles, adding enjoyment to the music lesson. Descriptive titles give hint to rhythmic form: Tiger Tango, Rhino Rumba, Penguin Polka, Hippo Hop, and more. Undemanding piano accompaniments are “teacher friendly” or suitable for fellow students, and all pieces are suitable for solo or classroom use.
