Organ — A new composition from one of America's foremost composers--and one, incidentally, whose first love and professional experience was with the organ. Premiered by Marilyn Mason at the American Guild of Organists 1980 convention, the suite is inspired by John Dryden's hymn "Creator Spirit". Written horizontally and economically, this lyrical suite is cast in 5 sections: Prelude, Response, Psalm, Prayer and Toccata. Duration: 18 min.
