The Duxbury Fanfare

Trumpet in Bb 1, Trumpet in Bb 2, Horn in F, Trombone, Tuba — A commission by the South Shore Conservatory (Duxbury, MA) led to this exciting fanfare for brass quintet. Says Bernofsky, "The piece begins with a rather fragmented-sounding opening, and it gradually takes shape as all the instruments come together to play the main theme of the piece."
