Alto Flute, Guitar, Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello — Martin’s sextet takes its title from the painting by 20th century artist Arshile Gorky. The 15-minute work was made possible by a commission from the Composers Guild of New Jersey and dedicated to William Anderson who premiered it with The Theatre Chamber Players of Washington, DC.
