Voice, Piccolo, Flute, Oboe 1, Oboe 2, Clarinet in Bb 1, Clarinet in Bb 2, Bassoon 1, Bassoon 2, Horn in F 1, Horn in F 2, Trumpet in Bb 1, Trumpet in Bb 2, Trombone 1, Trombone 2, Tuba, Timpani, Percussion, Tubular Bells, Glockenspiel, Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello, Double Bass — This arrangement is appropriate for an audience sing along. Choose different sections of the audience to sing the different 'Gifts', with a leader, or leaders, 'Conducting' the fun. Everyone sings the beginning of each 'Day'. Consider having a bit of practice with the audience before the 'performance'. Also consider adding hand motions or body movements to go with each of the gifts.After rehearsal letter M (near the end), the first boxed text is only in the violin 1 part while the second boxed text is in all parts. Choose who should speak the first text (needs to be loud or amplified). The person speaking the first boxed text might need to wait for the audience to quiet down. Audiences seem to enjoy celebrating after the 12th Day!
