Trumpet in Bb 1, Trumpet in Bb 2, Trumpet in Bb 3, Trumpet in Bb 4, Horn in F, Trombone 1, Trombone 2, Trombone 3, Trombone 4, Tuba — HAMAMATSU OVERTURE is a joyous fanfare created to showcase the beautiful sonorities of three types of brass chamber music. Eric Ewazen was selected by the Yamaha Corporation to compose the most gratifying brass music possible, to spotlight its instruments. The work is available in publications for 3 Bb Trumpets, for Brass Quintet, and for 10-part Brass Ensemble.
