Flute, Piano — Commissioned by the Strathmore Hall Foundation, Schocker has constructed a concert work resembling an extended etude. From a deceptively simple opening melody, he introduces runs, trills, broken chords, and chromatic passages all seamlessly integrated into this 5-minute, somewhat challenging showpiece.
