Description
Series: Legacy of the March It is ironic that Kiefer’s most popular march was not published until 1921, the year after his death. It was published by Charles L. Barnhouse who may have given the march its name as few composers use their own names in their music titles. Kiefer’s Special is an all-purpose march which, depending on the tempo, can be used to accompany a circus routine, move the troops from one location to another, enliven a football half-time show, or entertain a concert audience.
