Description
Series: Legacy of the March Fred Jewell composed Tent City in 1907. The term tent city is used to describe a variety of temporary housing facilities made using tents, for Jewell, the temporary facilities were that of the circus. Clearly evoking the excitement of the big top, this exciting march works well at a variety of tempos. Of special interest in this march is Jewell’s use of an unexpected key change in the second strain.
