Description

Baritone, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Piano — This setting of three scriptural psalms for SATB Voices and Baritone solo with Piano was commissioned and first premiered in 1984. Fragments of celebratory and jubilant text are taken from Psalms 8, 69 and 108, effectively offering praise and glory to God. With traditional harmonic vocabulary, this work is accessible to the community, church, or college ensemble, featuring a baritone solo with a relatively wider range.
