Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Piano — Chilean poet Pablo Neruda (1904-1973) dedicated his "Cien Sonetos de Amor" to his wife and it remains among the world's most revered collections of love poems. Among these one hundred poems is the gorgeous sonnet, Ya eres mia. This choral/piano setting joins Lauridsen's previous a cappella composition on a Neruda text, Soneto de la noche, from his choral cycle Nocturnes.
