Ceremony of the Stones,a work written in d minor, pays homage to the celebrations that have become synonymous with the arrival of the summer solstice, which attracts thousands of people to watch the sunrise over the Stonehenge every year. The summer solstice takes place on the longest day of the year, marking the only day on the calendar that the sun rises perfectly in the center of the stones at Stonehenge.
