Description

Violin, Guitar — It is assumed that the pieces were composed around 1720. At that time, Bach arranged his sonatas in such a way that the bass was freed from the mere role of a continuo and was elevated to the same level as the violin. Kolja Lessing, the violin player, called the violin part careful and sparse. A separate basso part, which also contains the original fingering, rounds off this edition.
