Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3 — As a composer, Anton Bernhard Fürstenau confined himself to his own instrument. He created a wealth of pedagogical, soloistic and chamber music works of considerably higher quality than those compositions written by other flute virtuosos of the time. The 3 trios op. 14 presented here were published for the first time by Breitkopf & Härtel in 1822/1823. Our edition is based on this first publication.
