Description

Flute, Piano — "Carnaval des Animaux" is one of the most popular works by Saint-Saëns. After the Romance op. 37 (ZM29500) and the Odelette op. 162 (ZM29420), Werner Richer now presents two movements from the Carnaval in rearranged versions for flute and piano. "La volière" is the showpiece for the flutist, whereas "Le cygne" is originally a cello piece and has been transposed an octave to keep the cello character.
