Series: Jazz Gateway In its original version, this contemporary ballad featured alto sax soloist -- here tenor sax is the star -- but the rich harmonic character and lyrical qualities of the professional version have been retained. Developing players will need to practice the split triplets since they give the tune its loose, relaxed feelingbut that work will be well rewarded at concert time.
