Series: Kendor Ensemble Series This traditional melody has been cleverly arranged at the grade 3 level for flute trio, clarinet trio, and grade 2+ for trombone trio by James Christensen. Sir Harold Boulton (1859-1935) added lyrics to this old Welsh air in 1884, at the age of 25. The song has gone on to become one of the most beloved melodies ever. Add that to James Christensen's understanding of the inherent timbre and characteristics of this instrumental combination, and you've got a sure winner for your next recital, concert or Christmas performance.
