Voice, Piano — Famous in her lifetime as a singer, Viardot was also an active composer of over 200 songs. The twelve songs in this collection demonstrate Viardot’s facility both in the vocal writing as well as the piano which is given equal treatment. The songs are indicated for soprano, mezzo, alto and baritone but may easily be adapted for any medium voice.
