Kings and Angels Dancing

Description

Commissioned by the Durham Middle School Wind Ensemble in Lewisville, Texas, in the Fall of 2019, for its first performance under their new Director, Ms. Ellie Murphy, Kings and Angels Dancing begins with a sense of awe and mystery accurately attributed to these two groups - Kings and Angels. Who are they? For what have they come? However, once they bring out the drum, the triangle, and the cymbals, it is apparent that they are here to celebrate. There is even an extra step in their dance, for good measure!
