Saxiana Junior

Description

Following Saxiana (2008), a first volume dedicated to 2nd cycle saxophone students, Nicolas Prost now offers Saxiana Junior, specially intended for the young 1st cycle saxophonist. Seven talented composers agreed to write short pieces for our budding musicians. Their original pieces provide young saxophonists with a wonderful opportunity to approach the "interpretation" of modern music and get insight into the composers' varied inspiration: neoclassical, neo-tonal, electronic, pop, tango, jazzy etc. The accompaniment track (sound track, piano or per cussion) is an essential pedagogical aid for assesments, class concerts or regular concerts.
