Canzon Bergamasca

Description

Samuel Scheidt is best known in the brass world for his "Canzon Bergamasca" and "Galliard Battaglia" played by brass quintets all over the world. This piece works great for six trumpets with the melodic line often passing back and forth between the two choirs of three trumpets each. The top line could be played on piccolo trumpet or on E-flat trumpet. (4:30)
