Description

This overture by talented composer Doug Court was commissioned by the Albert College Wind Ensemble, Scott Mills directing. Rich harmonies and driving rhythms propel this piece through several sections: Majesty of the past, Young life, Reflections of the past and A look to the future. This is an ideal contest piece showcasing both ensemble playing and solos throughout.
