Solar Storm

Description

A solar storm (or solar flare) is a large explosion in the Sun's atmosphere releasing massive amounts of energy. This shifty, rhythmic piece is colorful and bold with great material in all sections. It is split into four main sections: Sunspots * Ode to Helios * The Carrington Event * Aurora Borealis. Each section has its own character. The chant-like "Ode to Helios" features the quintet singing a chant creating a haunting mood before returning to more energetic and heroic sections. Fun to play, exciting to hear!
