Description
Flute, Viola, Violoncello, Guitar — Schubert knew and played the guitar well enough to compose for it as this work and the Cantata D-80 demonstrate. His reworking of Matiekga's Notturno by adding a cello part is a fine example of Schubert's involvement with the guitar.
