Valsette

Description

Piano — The work written in 1907 was originally considered by the composer to be the first piece of op. 3 (finally instead of Ten Piano Pieces the Valsette and the Nine Piano Pieces were published separately). The tenderness and charm of pastel colours and mediterranean sounds are the characteristics of this composition, its melodies are constructed mostly from small third intervals.
