Description

Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn in F, Bassoon — The alternation between fast and slow movements in this piece is reminiscent of the nice diversity that can be expected in a traditional suite, and this provides an excellent opportunity for woodwind quintet. The variation between the witty ideas of the three fast movements and the relaxing lull of the two slow movements along with the rhythmic occurrences that take place throughout this work make for an animated and interesting composition.
