I wanted to create something for this planet where we could live in a peaceful mind.Our "terra" should be beautiful with mindful people and thoughts. Play withyour kind feelings to reach the ears of the listeners.Keep the tone of each phrase legato. Some of these phrases are rather long. If the players need to take a breath, the melodies should still be stable with espressivo playing. Representing the hope that we can all live with peaceful thoughts, this expressive ballad lets younger ensembles work on the essential skills of legato-style playing, listening across the ensemble, and developing long phrases. Only two and a half minutes long, this composition will present a beautiful musical moment in your concert without tiring younger performers.
