This transcription for band sounds brighter than the original version because of the instrumentation, and addition of percussion.Primula is a dainty little flower blooms in spring. The piece opens with a short introduction. The sound should be “risoluto.” After the introduction, the main theme begins. The combination of 8th note accompaniment and legato melody flows everywhere.
