A solo section gives students an opportunity to improvise using a B blues scale (B, D, E, F, F≥, A) or B minor pentatonic scale (B, D, E, F≥, A). The conga and bongo players may deviate from the score and create different rhythmic patterns within the groove. Perform with energy! For a change-up in your concert program, we have Spy vs. Spy, a dashing piece reminiscent of spy theme music from the 1960s and 1970s.
