Developing musicians will continue to develop strong fundamentals in tone production and rhythm while also exploring greater variety in bowing techniques and dynamic range, all centered in the key of G. Each section also has a role in melody and harmony, giving each instrument a chance for the spotlight. This inspirational work is not only a grand opener for any concert, but also ceremonies and public events (think graduation!). Proclaiming triumph, this celebratory fanfare celebrates honor and courage. Set in accessible G major, the broad melody moves through the orchestra, giving every player melodic opportunities. Easy accidentals offer interesting chord progressions as a brief minor section builds back to repeat the victorious opening theme.
