Baritone, Viola — The four minute setting of Paul Auster's poem Quarry for baritone voice and viola was first performed at the Guggenheim Museum (NYC) in September 2004 by baritone Tom Meglioranza and violist Misha Amory. Hyla was one of several composers commissioned by the Works & Process series for new works based on Auster's poetry. Manuscript.
