The swirls begin gently at the outset but before we know it, our world is turning white!My hope is that I have captured some of the feelings expressed in Robert Frost's beautiful poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. There is a gentle peacefulness in the poem shadowed with a hint of longing for warmer, greener times in the sun, and an underlying starkness, a darkness that reminds us of how unforgiving the cold can sometimes be. Soon, we feel an urgency to resume our journey home to the warmth of fireplace and family, a return to the busy lives that await us.
