A transition leads to an aggressive outburst of percussion and tutti interjections from the winds (m. 70). The opening section is restated (m. 88). A majestic climactic restatement of the brass chorale (m. 112) precedes an energetic coda (m. 122) that completes the composition in a major key.xa0 This adventurous piece opens with a burst of sound that foreshadows the spirited nature of the composition.
