Soprano, Alto, Keyboard — This arrangement is flexible to suit the needs of many vocal ensembles and performance contexts.Though I have found that it is quite brilliant around quarter note = 166, the piece retains itsintegrity through a range of tempo options. Also, the accompaniment is intended as a guideline.Accompanists may choose to modify the prescribed accompaniment, perhaps by maintaining thebass line and leaving out some of the suggested right-hand runs, or by improvising entirely newideas to support this exciting gospel style.
