To realize this swing, stay precisely in tempo. Staccato markings should not be performed too short. You might even enjoy the lingering sound of the pizzicato. More expression and legato playing are required starting in m. 39. At the very end of the piece the door is shut. Simply delightful, this piece features a light swing feel. A crowd-pleaser, there is plenty of opportunity for lush phrasing in this more advanced work.
