The concept is a voyage across the ocean, into vast blue waters.The opening section has a light, brilliant atmosphere that expresses hope and excitement at the beginning of the journey, using many staccato articulations to create a sparkling texture.The middle section reflects the calmness and gentle stillness of the ocean’s surface. A warm and blended sound is needed here. Please enjoy the subtle changes in tone color.The final note represents a moment of release at the end of the voyage, almost like the close of an animated story, with a dry but a warm sense of completion. This piece expresses the sense of energy and excitement of setting out on a voyage across the vast open sea. The articulations indicated in the score are essential in conveying the many changing expressions of the ocean. It is an enjoyable work, shaped by the overall flow and the harmony of the chords.
