Cornet in Bb, Piano — This most famous soprano aria from the opera was arranged by Clifford Lillya for Solo Trumpet and Band (see BQ-8). This piano arrangement is in the same key as the band arrangement, and is the id eal preparation vehicle or can easily serve as it is. The solo part comes for B-flat Trumpet (in both keys of G-flat and F) and also a part for E-flat Trumpet (for the alternate key play this on the D Trumpet).
