Scree Scramble

Description

Double Bass — Scree Scramble was commissioned by the Robert Black Foundation in tandem with NewMusic on the Point and bassist James Sullivan. “Scree” refers to loose eroded rocks on theside of a mountain, and “scrambling” is hiking/climbing using your hands and feet. Thispiece reflects a perilous journey on the rocks up to the top of a mountain.
