Inspired by the famous Shakespeare soliloquy from the third act of Hamlet, this compelling two-movement work portrays a vast array of emotions. The first movement, Dream of Life, uses long phrases, slow harmonic movement, and lingering suspensions to portray a peaceful sleep.
