for Orchestra Roxanna Panufnik's Three Paths to Peace is an 11-minute orchestral prelude that intertwines Christian, Jewish and Islamic music, moving towards a homogenous, harmonious and joyful conclusion through the piece. Commissioned by the World Orchestra for Peace, it was first performed by them in Jerusalem, conducted by Valery Gergiev, on 19 October 2008.This Edition Peters score is part of the Peters Contemporary Library series.
