Description

Lake Ammer in Bavaria inspired the prize-winning American/Australian composer, conductor, horn player, and poet Lee Bracegirdle to write a German song cycle premiered by baritone Didier Fr�d�ric and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra led by Reinbert de Leeuw. Within its 23 minutes and five episodes, the singer's spare observations, over a colorful post-Romantic accompaniment, reveal beautiful details found in the grand inevitability of life.
