for Oboe, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Bass Clarinet and Bassoon Carola Bauckholt's Zugv�gel is a 12-minute work for five woodwind (oboe, clarinet, alto saxophone, bass clarinet, bassoon). The work is inspired by the flight of migratory birds: Whooper Swans scream with every beat of their wings. They trace large circles before they fly off. They cross an immense airspace. Strict rules of behaviour. Formations. Pelican, Black Scoter, Canada Goose, Cormorant, Hawk, Common Loon, Harlequin Duck.
