for Flute, Clarinet in B-flat, Violin, Violoncello, Vibraphone and Piano Shifting mirrors by Fabi�n Panisello is a 16-minute work for ensemble (Fl. (Picc.), (B.) Cl., Vln., Vlc., Vib. & Pf). In the first movement the compositional material dissolves more and more until it splits completely, with the resulting remnants generating something new in the following movements. In the second and third movement, the form becomes increasingly dense, creating a very virtuosic overall impression. Shifting Mirrors was first performed by Ensemble Almaviva on 22 May 2019 in Paris.
