Description

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) first wrote his CONCERTO FOR THREE PIANOS AND ORCHESTRA in F, No. 7, K. 242 in February of 1776. While it was originally composed for three solo pianos, Mozart recomposed the work for himself and only one other pianist in 1780. It is this version for two pianos that is most often performed today. It is sometimes given the nickname 'Lodron' as it was commissioned by Countess Antonia Lodron to be played with her two daughters, Aloysia and Giuseppa. Instrumentation: 0.2.0.0: 2.0.0.0: Str (4-4-3-3-3 in set): Soli Pianos (3 or 2; not included in set). Reprint of the Mozarts Werke edition from 1879. The score includes the composer's arrangement of the solo parts for two pianos. The three solo piano parts are all available separately.
