Jean-Baptiste Accolay (1833-1900) wrote his best known work, the one-movement Concerto for Violin No. 1 in A minor, in 1868. Considered a student concerto, the work is still regularly studied today by violinists. This edition was edited and fingered Otto Karl Schill, and the score and parts have been wholly reengraved by the publisher.
